UNCONVENTIONAL STANDARDS, UNCONVENTIONALLY GOOD SOUND
Its hard to explain our CG3 and 23 speakers without sounding cliché and typically-hyped. But these speakers (inspired by our ground-breaking CG4 line) are truly sensational. So we’re going to give it a shot.
While our speakers often find themselves in home theater applications, RSL speakers are always designed for 2.1 stereo first. As purists, we take this approach because two-channel is the truest test of a speaker and is far more revealing than surround-sound. Its easy to mask a speaker’s imperfections when there are four, or more, additional speakers providing support. Instead of choosing the path of least resistance, we take the opposite approach to design.
Mastering two-channel calls for a greater level of refinement and fine-tuning. Just two speakers and a single sub must be capable of flawlessly re-creating a live performance. Each speaker needs to paint a sonic picture that’s true-to-life in size and depth – with every instrument clearly distinguishable and correctly positioned. Sound should be rich and natural, without a trace of boxiness or coloration. Vocals should emanate from one precise location between the speakers, creating the feel of the singer standing just feet in front of you. The experience is like having tickets to a private show, and you’re sitting in the sweet spot.
Reaching this level of performance requires a greater excellence of parts and construction. As a small, family-run, internet-direct company, we can deliver this kind of quality to our customers for less than larger competing brands. We cut out the middlemen and eliminate the corporate infrastructure; allowing us to provide superior speakers for lower price than our competitors. A price that finally takes the sting out of the term ‘high-end’.
The speakers you’re about to order are a new industry milestone. They’re the finest example of the art and evolution of speaker design. Enjoy the

I have had the CG 23s since the beginning of the year and they have replaced everything else that I own in my 2.1 set up. I also own the speedwoofer 10s and the CG 4's ...t's quite obvious that RSL speakers are passionate about hi fi
, and it comes through in the products they create and sell. Looking forward to picking up the new CG 25 soon!
I’m thrilled with my CG23s. They sound crisp and full and put out a lot of sound from a small package. I’ve got one mounted flush to the wall on each side of my TV, so the fact that they are pretty slim was key. We haven’t been watching much TV but we play music constantly and they rock.
For mounting, I bought some aluminum Z-clips that I modified by putting a center hole in them big enough for a machine screw than I used to fasten them to the speaker. They hang really solid and look clean.
After my positive experience with the CG23s and in-ceiling speakers, I’ll be looking at more RSLs in the future.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY WITH A CENTER STAGE SPEAKER! How in the world did you guys get such a big, bright (no too bright) sound from such a small speaker. This thing keeps ups with my 602's EASILY!!! I couldn't be happier!
Thanks so much. And each time you develop a new center stage speaker I will be there to upgrade!
When I pulled it from the box I was so afraid that it was much too small for my setup but WHOA! It's wonderful and just blew me away. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
This speaker replaced a B&W HTM2 center channel THAT I PROMPTLY SOLD ON EBAY! Don't miss it a bit.
I can't say enough. PERFECT center speaker. PERFECT!!!
I received my speakers today, a day early and wonderfully packed. I've staged the front with the 3 x CG23's , all 3 standing upright and may I say sir, you and your company kicks ass. The imaging, the depth and detail is so precise. When matched with your Speedwoofer 10s, you are competing with 800 to 1000 dollar speakers with no problem and in some cases, even higher. I am crossed over at a comfortable 110hz and it is a seamless blend. To be fair, I am using 2 Speedwoofers but hey, stereo or home theater, you have knocked the ball completely out of the park ..There is No Way you can get This Sound Or This Quality at This Price Anywhere Else.....
Hands down the best speakers for the money. Usually I feel ripped off when making expensive purchases and disappointed (like my AV Receiver). In the case of my RSL purchase I feel like I ripped them off! Their customer service is even remarkable. If your shopping for a sweet home audio setup you will not be disappointed with RSL. I got two CG3's, one CG23, and the Speedwoofer 10. My only regret is not buying more to complete the 5.1 setup. I will for sure be ordering two more CG23's shortly.
These speakers are amazing! I have tried/owned Elac, Monitor Audio, Chane, HTD, Polk. These are far and away a better speaker! I bought 3 of the CG23s and have them in a large wall unit. They are spread roughly three feet apart from one another and create a crystal clear wall of sound. I just sold my old subwoofer and will more then likely be purchasing a Speedwoofer from RSL as well. These speakers are beautifully made, sound amazing and are the best bargain out there. One of the best things about this company is the customer service. You call/email Joe or Roger are there to help with any questions or concerns you may have. I probably emailed them a dozen times before I pulled the trigger on these and they were always willing to answer all of my questions. With a 30 day trial period and free shipping both ways what do you have to loose?
An amazing speaker for an amazing price. Needed smaller speakers to replace a set of Monitor Audio Silvers that were simply occupying too much space in a small room. The CG23's match the quality and sound stage of the Silvers at a third of the size. What impresses me most about these speakers is how well they work for music. Small speakers tend to work very well with movies but not so with music. That is not the case with the CG23's. Can't imagine a better sounding set of speakers at this price point.

I'm using this as a center with a pair of JBL 270 towers and a Yamaha receiver, I'm extremely impressed. I was a bit concerned with purchasing a smaller center like this but wow this thing punches above it's weight. Vocals are very clear, even at low volumes which was one of the first things I noticed. My previous center was Polk T30 and it had a small volume range where the vocals were clear, I can drop the volume with the CG23 quite low and still hear voices very clearly. Zero regrets with this purchase... aside from the fact i can't help but wonder how the CG25 sounds...
