If you are on the fence about upgrading your current home theatre, quit thinking about it and buy this CG line of Speakers!

I have owned the Bose Acoustimass 10 series of speakers for 20+ years, and they were fine; However, I wanted more, and RSL delivered with my new CG23 5.1 setup. These things freakin rock! I was concerned that they may not fill my open concept 1st floor, but no longer! I am honestly hearing images in songs, movies, etc that I never noticed before. These speakers truly brought life back into audio imaging that I cannot believe vs my old Bose!

Again, don’t think, buy!

Extremely pleased customer and proud owner of RSL Speakers!

I've waited a few weeks to write this review just to make sure what I was hearing was in fact what I was hearing. First off Joe Rodgers is the most honest, down to Earth person I have had contact with in the HT business. I just cannot believe the sound you get from these speakers. How 4 inch drivers could so big is a mystery. They sound every bit as big as my old Def Tech's that were much bigger in size but the RSL speakers have better dynamics by far. These speakers do not add anything to the sound, no coloration, its just the sound of what is being played with nothing added to the sound. Movies sound absolutely amazing, explosions, and action is just incredible. Music sounds amazing as well. I cannot say enough about these speakers, there are not enough adjectives to fully describe them. They should not be this good, but they are, they are that good and more. Thank you for all the help and advice Joe, appreciate it all.

I bought a CG23 5.1 package with a Denon x3700h from RSL. Their customer service is second to none and they spent time to help with setup tips for optimal performance. The speakers sound clear and clean, the piano gloss is fantastic, and the Speedwoofer performance was startling. Clean, rich, full bass with tons of power. I’m very happy with my setup, it is everything I was hoping for, so glad I went with RSL. I’m looking forward to adding another and making it a 5.2 when they get back in stock,

Simply a fantastic system. My setup consists of three CG23's as LCR speakers, two CG3's for surrounds, and one Speedwoofer 10S. I spent a lot of time researching my options when I decided to invest in a speaker system. My usage is probably 60% movies/TV and 40% music. RSL had several key selling points:

1) Complete & engineered system – There was major appeal to purchasing a complete system that was engineered by one manufacturer. While I have a medium-large sized 27' x 17’ open floor plan living room, I still wanted relatively compact speakers. Since smaller speakers can require higher crossovers, I wanted a subwoofer capable of playing up to the crossover point and blending seamlessly. To achieve this, I wasn’t interested in testing out various speaker/sub combinations and simply hoping for a good result – I wanted something designed and tested to work well together.

2) Front ported speakers / resonance control – I was looking for speakers to place on an open shelf entertainment center. Acoustically, I knew this was not ideal, but I did focus my search on sealed or front ported speakers. I also wanted a speaker that was well built with a solid cabinet to control resonance due to my required speaker placement. RSL’s front ported speakers with compression guide technology seemed to hit the mark here.

3) Integrated wireless subwoofer option – subwoofer placement can be tricky and the flexibility offered with wireless is very nice.

4) Option for horizontal LCR placement – for no reason other than aesthetics, the fact that the CG23’s are designed to work both horizontally and vertically due to their mid-tweeter-mid arrangement was appealing.

5) Outstanding customer service – the owner Joe took time to thoroughly address my questions and concerns at length. That left me very impressed.

The results after one year of ownership: A system that still puts a smile on my face. Even in a medium-large sized room, the CG23/CG3’s have no problem filling the space. I’ve been able to achieve loud, clear, room filling sound without ever playing higher than -15db below reference. Music and movies sound equally great, which I credit to RSL's stated goal of building speakers "designed for 2.1 stereo first". Across wide genres of music and all types of movies/tv, this system provides consistently solid performance. The CG3/CG23’s look beautiful; I'm a huge fan of glossy piano black finishes and love the clean & sleek appearance of these speakers. They seem incredibly well made with solid cabinets. My CG23’s are in a horizontal arrangement across the front of the room, which provides a great overall aesthetic value. I’ve experimented with toe-in of my LR’s, but ultimately found it unnecessary as the CG23’s provide a nice wide soundstage. The CG3's also serve wonderfully as surrounds.

Put simply, the Speedwoofer is one fine sub. Sure, you can find subs that play louder, deeper, and with more output. However, those are typically bulkier, more expensive, and often ill-suited for both movies and music. The jack-of-all-trades balance achieved with the Speedwoofer is remarkable, providing equal parts finesse and ferocity. Most importantly to me, it blends effortlessly with the speakers to the extent that you forget it’s there (in a good way).

RSL is an easy recommendation to make to others and I don’t think you can go wrong with any combination of their speakers.
