I'm using the ia255.1 to drive a 2.1 stand mount & 8" sub setup in our home office. Sits between an entry level DAC and speakers so using line-in features only at the moment. Solid construction and great tactile feel to the volume knob. Feeds more than enough power to drive my 6 Ohm loudspeakers to blistering volume while keeping everything under control, partly in thanks to the high-pass filter. Great value given price and shipping to Canada was hassle-free.

The little gem brought my old Boston Accoustic speakers back to life. They sound great and has excellent musical depth. Last, bought an 8-inch sub to go with my above bedroom set. Sub sounds good, too. RSL makes great products. WIll buy more.

Using it for the tv, and it works really well for that. Only thing is, the tv doesn’t have RCA or 3.5 out, only optical or HDMI-ARC, and the amp doesn’t have inputs for either of those. So I put a Topping DAC in between, and the result is even better. Also sounds terrific running Tidal through the tv.
I did have an issue with the original amp, but Rogers had it replaced within a couple of days. Service doesn’t get any better than that.

Overall, I am impressed with the sound and connectivity if the ia255.1. I learned of these small amps on Youtube and after research, decided on the unit from Rogersound Labs due to customer service. Their customer service is great. I have a small issue where the selector switch doesn’t work as designed. I contacted them on this issue and was given the option to send it back via free shipping for replacement. It will work on each input option, but for some reason it locks onto Bluetooth when trying to switch to USB. Since I didn’t want to change back to my PC speakers while waiting for a replacement and I can switch to any input by turning the unit off and back on or down to LINE and to USB quickly, which I don’t plan to do ofter, I decided to keep it. Plus Rogersound didn’t think my issue will cause any reliability issues and I still have the warranty. I am using the ia255.1 in my desktop system using USB-C input from my computer, a pair of Mirage Nanosat speakers and an active sub-woofer. It is a big improvement over my previous PC speaker set-up, especially for higher volume music. I recommend the ia255.1 and would not hesitate to purchase again.
