In designing the ultimate stereo speaker system, we chose the 2.1 approach using a separate subwoofer. It offers many advantages over traditional floor-standing speakers. Our patented (CGT) enables our small CG4 speakers to produce a sound stage and image that’s larger than other speakers that can take up half your room. It also allows our subwoofer to perfectly match our satellite speakers, so there is no gap between them. You can place the subwoofer virtually anywhere in your room so that you achieve best bass distribution.  This is a big advantage over the big speakers that have everything in one cabinet.
