These speakers are used as center, front and side speakers in a 7 speaker plus subwoofer theater system. I compared the CG23M speakers to a number of high-end options and could not find anything close for less than 3 times the price. I use the system for movies, YouTube music concerts, and music on CDs. It meets all of my expectations with clean, transparent reproduction of classical or contemporary music. Its definition is great for movie sound effects, but I tend to judge speakers on whether or not they reproduce music well. Many theater systems can sound great for movies, but fail on reproducing music. The CG23M demonstrates no distortion, shrillness, or artifacts, even at uncomfortable volume levels. I'm not sure what more you can expect from a speaker.

I wanted to improve the clarity of TV movie dialogue in an acoustically challenged room.
Ordered the CG23M for use as a center channel. Hooked it up to an old Denon AVR, with a small sub and speakers, all gear that I already owned, for a basic 3.1 system.
Fooled around with settings for a while, and it works fine.
Ordering, shipping, and installation were no problem.

I got these as a set from the 5.1 deal on here. For my needs and room size I went with the 10e subwoofer. Initially I was worried as the room is 20 by 30 ft. And the listen area is asymmetrical. But the actual viewing/listening space is 10 by 10ft. I wanted a bit more impact from the LCR channels as most sounds will come from there and I do not listen at high volumes. The highest I go is -10 dB and typically that's loud enough. I will say there is a lot of debate on the design of these as a horizontal speaker. There is science and charts showing that listening to these too far out creates dead zones. I did not notate any of that in all of my listening positions. The sound was clear and I did not notice any shifts in audio for my setup. These have more impact than the CG3ms that I use as my surrounds. I wouldn't have known all of this without trying things out first but it helped to know that I wanted a flat sound. Things that sound too bright, highs and lows being exaggerated, are great for demos and impressing people. But for long watch sessions at high volumes or even low volumes, I am so glad I found RSLs. The sound is flat. Flat being I can hear everything intended to be heard without other frequencies being muscled out. This in no way means the sound is dead. It means the sound is awesome to listen to for long periods of time. Voices are clear, they aren't shrill, the bass is lacking but that is what a sub is for and the lowest end sub 10e is amazing, and I'd imagine they just get better. The speakers have a nice finish that doesn't get finger prints on them easily or show smudges. They're really good subtle looking speakers. They mount anyway you want but do not come with hardware to mount. That's on whatever stand or mount you purchase. Some of them come with rubber feet. I'm assuming the rubber feet are for the CG23Ms as I only got 3 packs for the 5 speakers. Honestly can't complain nor do I really feel like I'm missing out and I love that. There are products I buy and know I want more out of what I'm getting. Audio equipment can feel that way in that you get what you pay for. This didn't feel like that. The price was reasonable and the whole system compliments each other. The performance of these makes me smile. So if your in the market for some bookshelf speakers that sound great and punch above their weight without giving you fatigue then here they are.

We love our new Rogersound Labs system. We’re all about listening to music (don’t even have a TV) & we are very very pleased.
