Love these subs.

Fantastic subs. So easy to dial in and get great mid and deep bass from the two 12s subs I have across my front stage. One note from this initial calibration. When using my Denon’s audyssey xt32 calibration (via the app), I made the mistake of setting my sub’s built in volume/ gain knob at the high end of the acceptable range my AVR was looking for. Essentially turning it up until it exceeded the AVR’s recommended volume window and then backing down one click. This made turning on Dynamic EQ and any later fine tuning of the db level of the subs (via the Denon app) to go too hot very quickly. I would recommend tuning the sub’s built in volume to sit right in the middle of the AVR calibration’s acceptable range. Very easy to achieve this with the 12s remote and blue lights up front. One or two clicks too hot on the sub, was multiplied exponentially when turning up the volume or activating dynamic EQ.

Perfect gift

I bought this subwoofer for my boyfriend because he kept geeking out about it. Honestly, I had no clue what it really did or how it worked at first. I just knew he wanted one. But now that we have it, we both love it so much we’re planning to buy a second one!

The sound quality is incredible. When it’s turned all the way up, it makes the whole house shake (in the best way). Watching movies or playing music feels like a full-on theater experience. But it’s also great at lower volumes—perfect when I’m home alone and just want some clean, rich sound without waking up the whole neighborhood.

If you have a loved one who’s really into sound systems or home theater setups, this makes the perfect gift. Even if you’re not an audio expert, they’ll appreciate it and chances are, you’ll end up loving it too.
