SEAMLESS, EDGELESS INTEGRATION – RSL’s W25E architectural speaker features an “Edgeless” grille that attaches magnetically, with no trim feature to distract from the overall aesthetic of an integrated in-wall speaker. The acoustically transparent scrim cloth behind the grille provides a consistent visual contrast that eliminates the “see-through” look common to many in-wall speakers. This scrim cloth also features a light adhesion to the inside of the grille that allows for easy removal and replacement which is necessary when looking to custom paint your grilles to seamlessly match any home décor.

SLIM EASY-FIT FOR ANY LOCATION – No need to cut a tower-sized hole in your wall as the W25E requires only a small cut-out of 13″ x 8 7/8″. With a depth of just 3.75″, the W25E will easily fit within any standard 2×4 wall construction, whether vertically or horizontally mounted. When using your W25E in a traditional vertical orientation, the speaker is rotated to match the left or right channel position. In the horizontal “center channel” orientation, the rotation will depend upon whether the W25E is placed above or below the TV. No matter the application, the W25E is quickly and easily installed with ideal
channel-specific performance.

LATERAL PHASE COHERENT ALIGNMENT – The W25E was designed to deliver ideal performance whether mounted vertically or horizontally. The specific baffle shape and component spacing has been modeled and optimized for ideal acoustic time alignment and summing. The closely spaced woofers and offset tweeter positioning yields excellent off-axis frequency response when mounted vertically or horizontally! Additionally, the W25E’s unique dual woofer and asymmetrical angled baffle design yields excellent phase coherence and time alignment when the speaker is oriented correctly for its assigned channel. This holds true for horizontal center channel applications above or below your TV. THICK WALL MOUNTING CLAMPS – A common problem when mounting in-wall speakers is that there are often specific fire codes or other isolation requirements that specify up to 1.5” thick layered drywall. RSL includes an extra set of clamps to allow all of its models to accommodate wall thicknesses of up 2”!
