Love my subs

I first bought a 10S II, that was originally going in a planned home theater setup but is now in a dedicated music room; was so impressed by my initial test run hooked up to a PC that I knew I’d have to replace it with another RSL. Lo and behold, they had an open box sale so I bought a 10E for my PC and another 10E for my home theater. Works just as well for music, games and movies, with a little less power, more than capable for the smallish rooms they occupy (the 10S II can doom pretty well in a much larger room). Prior to this, really underestimated how much of a difference a subwoofer can make as I’d only really had them in little prepackaged desktop or soundbar setups; most of those subs were fine… but the RSLs sound so much more natural with any speaker I’ve used. They blend in a way I didn’t know was possible - very subtle, but still adding a lot of depth and “presence” to both low end sound effects and low end bass notes in any genre of music I’ve thrown at them (from jazz to industrial to hip hop). Can’t recommend this company’s subs enough, especially for the exceptional value compared to most other subwoofers I’ve looked at.

Best budget sub. Not budget sound.

I got the 10E during the blemish sale. I purchased the A grade and TBH I didn't see a single blemish. It was basically brand new. I would've gone for a B or possibly C grade if it was not sold out. I did a lot of research.. and I think it's the best sub you can buy for the price if you have a 2 bd apartment or thereabouts. I would've liked the 10S MKII but based off the performance of the 10E it might be a bit overkill for my apartment. We share a couple walls and I hardly ever play my movies at reference anyway. Make sure you break it in for a few days before you really have an opinion. Breaking subs in is a real thing. It really opens up afterwards.

Insanely good value + performance

Have had M&K, Rel & Monitor Audio subs over the years. It's quite insane how cheap good bass is these days! The response on the RLS is tight and more akin to a sealed sub than traditional ported design. Goes deep, sounds fast and musical. Get two (or more!) of these and be happy.

Excellent!

I’m jumping on the bandwagon! This thing rocks! Great for home theater; even better for music! Fits in wonderfully with the elac front towers and center! If I keep going I’m gonna run out of explanation points! Highly recommended!!!

No regrets

I have a pretty big living room and was looking for a subwoofer for primarily TV and gaming. This thing kicks ass. I have not listened to their higher end subwoofers, but this thing sounds incredible. You hear AND feel the bass. If you're looking for primarily a home theater setup, I'd suggest probably a size up. But for this size sub, this thing is the best bang for your buck by a mile.
