Can be a bit tricky to get it connected, but it's rock solid once you do. I've had it for about a month and never had an issue with disconnecting.

From what I can tell, you only lose pairing if the transmitter loses power, I've been able to turn off the subwoofer and turn it back on and it doesn't require me to re-pair the devices.

One issue is the buzzing. I thought it was the cheap 3.5mm cable I was using, so I bought a shielded one. Turns out it's actually the stock usb power cable or the slot it plugs into (haven't tried it with a better USB cable) . Shift it around a bit and you can figure out a position get rid of the buzz, but it can be finicky. Sounds like some other people had the same issue and assumed it was the 3.5mm connection.

Definitely not a deal breaker, but definitely something that would be nice to see fixed.

I am using two receivers hooked to a single transmitter and it set up and works perfectly. I bought two new 16" subwoofers for the front wall, and placed the two 12s at the back wall. The AV unit only has two connections, so used a Y splitter for the front two and wireless for the back two. Connected in minutes. Just push the buttons to link. It's only been a couple of days so I can't speak to how long it will last, or whether it will periodically lose connection. BTW, so for no problem matching the 12 inch with the 16.

I can't recommend the wireless solution the 10S MKII with the AT-4. The first one quit working after a couple of months. That one also was a little noisy on the headphone jack connection and it could have been the provided cable but I never swapped it out to check. The Second one that RSL was initially much better, no noise and quickly paired with the subwoofer.. unfortunately it also lost its paring after a couple of months. I contacted RSL and they were quick to point out that it was probably noise in the 2.4Ghz band that the was causing it to permanently lose it's paring. Which I don't buy. If you can't pair the transmitter from 2inches away from the subwoofer it's not a good solution. RSL's recommendation was for me to send in the device and they would test it and see if was the device or it was just my environment. However RSL didn't provide any process on how to do that or who bares the cost of shipping and handling . The other recommendation was to use SVS's triband transmitter, a $200 option. I would only recommend the Wireless if you are just trying to figure out where in the room you want to put your sub and will hardwire it later. Otherwise I would skip the frustration and just hardwire it.

This works exactly the way it's suppose to work. I have the subwoofer behind my couch and this transmitter hidden behind pictures. It's so small that it can't be seen. They do not have a line of sight with each other. I had no problem pairing it. There is no delay what-so-ever. as soon as it calls for the subwoofer it works instantly and it doesn't matter how low I have the volume. It will work while watching TV. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
