I had been looking for a sound system for my upstairs loft area (approx 12 x 12 area). Since it was upstairs i could get above to install speakers for Atmos/DTS:X. I read the various av forums/audiophile posts and saw these mentioned but everyone kept recommending other "better known" brand speakers. If its one thing I have learned over the years is that name brand means your paying for that name in many cases. I came to the website and saw they also sell receivers and could possibly give bundle discounts. I contacted RSL via email and told them what I thought I wanted. I received a call from Joe who at first wasn't worried about selling me the speakers, but asking about room layout/ceiling height/positioning/etc. This was great, a company not worried about pushing products down throats, but making sure their product will actually work in your situation.. WOW. Joe emailed me 2 offers with the receiver bundled and I was MORE than pleased (I was considering going "referb" from a popular site many av forums recommend, but came out better and a better warranty from an authorized dealer). I chose the second offer which was to upgrade the fronts to CG23. I am still breaking them in, but all I have to say is WOW it really feels as if you are in the movie. My wife who doesn't give a crap about sound freaked out while playing the Atmos demo/multiple demo clips and then actually watching a movie. Obviously my loft area is not big, but I can't imagine it not sounding as good in a slightly bigger room... again I'm sure customer service will ask before you buy. My downstairs has SVS and both sound awesome, however I will be watching movies in my loft from now on because it sounds amazing.
