I was skeptical because of the price. Half the cost of the overrated SVS that i tried and sold shortly thereafter because it didn't provide what was needed out in a musical and musclar subwoofer like RSL. Man was I wrong. Not skeptical anymore.
Blown away by my purchase. This doesn't happen these days. Everyone is out to get over, make a buck. Finally, a brand that offers the best bang for my bucks. And it Looks as good as it sounds. Now I can't wait to purchase another one to load in opposite corner. Although I don't really need two because the performance of one is out of this world. I'm buying for decor now and that pure bass bliss. I've tried a lot of other subwoofers. RSL takes it by far. It's not even close. Svs was good but this RSL is simply Great !!! Punching way above the others. Notes are clean, clear, separated and punchy. Texture and timbre are spot on. No slopy boominess anywhere.
Just tight articulate low end. Wow!!! And this is right out box. Can't imagine how sweet it's gonna be after playing for awhile. Brought my mid teir system to a high end level now. My speakers can now breathe. They were trying to carry all the bass but a bookshelf can only do so much. Even floorstanders could use a quality sub. Now that a real 💯 subwoofer is in my system, WOW, RSL hit it out the park with this product.
Customer service is ridiculously good as well. Fast responses to emails, kind, informative and honest. When I asked if they thought I'd needed two for my space an honest answer came, "no, one will be more than enough It's a very capable subwoofer." I'm buying only from an honest company that provides the best customer service, stands behind their products and produces some of the best money can buy. Do yourself a favor, buy it, try it And I guarantee you'll become a believer like me.

For my office video editing suite, I needed a subwoofer for my Mac Studio. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, but also wanted good bass that could possibly fit in with my Hsu Research bookshelf speakers. I could have purchased one of their 12-inch subs, but they were more money and weigh a lot.

The RSL Speedwoofer 10E, based on an online review, looked like it could be a good match. Normally I'm skeptical of online reviews, but the writer reviewed a couple of other subs I was familiar with and gave them positive reviews.

The Speedwoofer 10E arrived at my home double boxed. It came with the AR4 Wireless Receiver and AT4 Wireless Transmitter. Impressive.

I plugged in the Speedwoofer 10E into my Schiit Audio Syn preamplifier, and hooked up the wireless receiver and transmitter. I turned everything on.

No bass, despite the wireless units showing blue light. I contacted RSL to return the units (keep the subwoofer) and I'd hard wire the sub to my preamp. Joe Rogers quickly responded back to me and sent me return information right away.

But I thought that maybe I had hooked up the wireless transmitter and receiver incorrectly. Turns out that I did. Even after decades of audio equipment set ups, occasionally I might read the instructions incorrectly at first.

Suddenly, the Speedwoofer 10E sprang to life. Nice clean bass right out of the box. It's switched out-of-phase to better match my speakers. I found placing the sub under my office desk closest to my bookshelf speakers on stands sounded the best and blended in better with them. In the corner where I'd normally place the sub, it marched to its own beat and sounded bloated and not tight.

After using the Speedwoofer 10E for about a month now, it sounds excellent. As with good subwoofers, it doesn't call attention to itself for the sake of listeners hearing "thumping bass." In my office, it will pump out good amounts of bass if I crank up the volume. Build quality is excellent.

I also want to commend Joe Rogers for his exemplary customer service, as well as his crew for shipping the subwoofer quickly.

Put this sub in my living room system. Ascend 340 se across the front. Ceiling speakers for the surround. 10E is a performer. My wife doesn’t like it loud so I don’t listen at reference levels. I do hear it but it doesn’t rumble. It just compliments the sound track. Better than I could have imagined at this price point. Awesome product. Great sound dynamics.

Truly amazing performance for the price. I bought the 10E to work with my modest 5.1.2 home theater setup in a smaller living room space and I have everything I want from a sub in the 10E. Very deep accurate bass with plenty of power, couldn't be happier with it!
