Holy hell

To be fair, I've never listened to a "proper" home theater setup before. All I knew was that every time I went to an IMAX showing or Dolby Vision I was mostly jealous of the sound. Its kind of silly that I have this sub and I'm quite happy pairing it with an $80 LED projector. I got some Paradigm 7SE speakers and I'm using a cheap Lepai 20W amp but honestly I prefer this sound to a proper atmos setup at a theater. I'm sure a good home setup will still blow me away, but as it is I feel like this sub will suite me for the rest of its/my life. I listen to a lot of basshead music and this thing will go low, and tests the limits of my house. It can be inaudible and make the lightbulbs vibrate in their housing. The extra features are super nice to have too and saved me some other hassle. Namely giving me a line level input/output with both a high and low pass filter. Along with a nice remote, and IR receiver input (mines behind my couch so it was necessary) Its heavy. Its big. But its built well and sounds like a dream. The racing scene in Ready Player One feels like your in a car with a crazy engine the way it rumbles my couch. I'm so happy I bought this.

If you have any hesitations...don't! Speedwoofer 12s is unmatched.

I have been through many "high end" brands of subwoofers, looking for the best match for my Focal speakers. Nothing stood out until I heard the Speedwoofer 12s. Everyone that has heard my setup with the dual Speedwoofer 12s is blown away by them. A friend spent over $2,000 a piece on his HT subwoofers and they are now on sale so he can replace them with Speedwoofer 12s. The sound quality is unmatched and the notes that I didn't know existed in movies are clear as day. The "clean" bass that comes from these subwoofers allows you to enjoy movies/music on a whole new level. From the crisp, on time bass, at low levels to the deep rumbles that you can feel at high levels, these subwoofers continue to amaze me. I can honestly say that at this price point, I have never been more excited about a purchase in my life. I chose to go with duals to balance out both the sound and appearance of our basement set up and even thought it is probably a bit overkill since these perform so well, it makes me smile every time they fire up. I have yet to find any song or soundtrack they cannot handle. Keep in mind, they are big and heavy, but I think that is just they way they should be. These added another dimension to my HT setup and I cannot say enough positive things about them. If you have any hesitation...don't!

This Sub is Amazing

I am beyond impressed with this subwoofer. My living room is 17'10" x 14'10" with 10' ceilings. It's open a bit on 2 sides. With one 12S, it pressurizes the room pretty damn good. The subwoofer blends in nicely with my 3.1 towers and center. I am beyond pleased. The infrasonic thump you feel more than hear in certain action scenes...Chef's Kiss. The only con to this sub is the enclosure is rather large. However, I'd be hard pressed to think of anything at this price matching its performance. I really want to add a 2nd one, but I have to convince the wife. If you're on the fence, just buy this sub. Measure to ensure you have the room first though.
